The last Friday & Saturday of the fundraising year our fantastic fundraisers (Sheila, Dianne & Yvonne) were out at Dobbies garden centre, Shelley.
Our thanks go to everyone who popped along to say hello and made a donation or purchased raffle tickets on the days.
As a charity we rely on these donations to allow us to continue saving lives at sea.
Our thanks also go to Mr Oliver Gibson (Dobbies manager) for welcoming us along for the event.
Mark Eastwood M.P. was in the audience with 2 members of his staff at Emley Community Centre. He posted on his media that he had been to a fascinating talk on Kirklees’ links to lifeboats around the country.
Thank you to Andy Ingham and all the local RNLI volunteers for sharing your knowledge and passion for this important cause.

Holmfirth on Monday 31st January, Andrew Ingham (Vice Chair) attended a Rural Neighbourhood Policing Team community event held at the Civic Hall Holmfirth
This provided the community with a chance to receive information about upcoming operations, what they are doing in the local area and more about the service they provide and gave people a chance to ask questions about recruiting and provide them with information.
The community event was well attended and a great success with local Scout and Beavers clubs in attendance too at the event.
A good evening, with Water Safety advice given out.
